A Strategic Advisor Course recently concluded for fifteen students, including seven Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) Ministry of Defense Advisors who will deploy to worldwide assignments, at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC), Camp Atterbury, Indiana.

The Defense Security Cooperation University’s (DSCU) Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS), located in Newport, R. I., recently surpassed the highest recorded annual total of international students in residence with DIILS.

A team from DSCU’s Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) recently traveled to Somalia to meet with members of its military as part of an ongoing Security Cooperation program.

DSCU’s Institute for Security Governance (ISG), in collaboration with the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) and the Mississippi National Guard (MSNG), recently hosted visits from Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan Human Resource Management (HRM) leaders at various HRM installations in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Highlights of the visit included observation of a senior NCO selection and assignments board; a visit to Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) New Orleans; a visit to the Gulfport Combat Readiness Training Center; a visit to the Mississippi Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD) and the 1108th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group (TASMG);

From June 25-27, 2023, Mr. John Zavage, the Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) Security Cooperation Organization (SCO) Curriculum Lead, participated in the 2023 Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers (CIOR) Summer Congress in Helsinki, Finland.
