BPC-301 Building Partner Capacity (BPC) Appropriations and Processes for Experts

BPC 301, Building Partner Capacity (BPC) Appropriations and Processes for Experts is designed for learners to understand the complex relationship between the federal budget process and the Department of War Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. Through in-depth interviews with experienced professionals, participants examine how these interconnected systems shape BPC programs from initial planning and resourcing through execution. The course provides practical insight into the use of legal authorities, management of funding, and mitigation of bureaucratic delays to support effective delivery of capabilities to partner nations.

The self-paced OLT (online training) course consists of 3 hours of instruction delivered through MyDSCU in Blackboard.

At the end of the course, learners will have opportunities to achieve an 80% or better on the final assessment. In addition, learners are asked to complete the course evaluation at the end of the course to provide valuable feedback on course design, content, and instruction.
