ACQ-250 Contracting for FMS
DSCU is in the process of converting ACQ-250 from a virtual instructor-led training (VILT) to an online training (OLT) which should be available for registration in the spring. In the meantime, people can complete the two pre-requites for the course:
INT 2110 International Acquisition/Security Cooperation Program Management and FMS-251 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Process.
This course is designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for effective management and execution of contracting processes within the realm of foreign military sales. Throughout the course, participants will gain a deep understanding of the complexities involved in the pre-planning for FMS contracting, focusing on the regulatory, and procedural frameworks specific to Foreign Military Sales. By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify key FMS stakeholders involved in Pre-LOR planning, recognize impacts of FMS funding, articulate the Pre-LOR activities for the procurement contracting officer and program manager, mitigate risks, and optimize outcomes for the international partner and all key stakeholders involved in FMS programs.
