ATE-221 International Military Student Office (IMSO)

The practitioner-level International Military Student Officer (IMSO) course focuses on the training of International Military Student Officers in the support and administration of international military students (IMS) at their assigned schoolhouses. The course includes instruction on executing IMSO roles and responsibilities, utilizing the Security Cooperation – Training Management System (SC-TMS) through the Security Assistance Network (SAN), developing Field Studies Program (FSP) events, and complying with applicable policies, regulations, and legal authorities in the administration of IMS.

The practitioner-level course includes asynchronous coursework in Blackboard followed by synchronous class meetings in the virtual classroom and a two-session seminar with MILDEPs in breakout rooms.
