PR-240 Unsuccessful U.S. Security Cooperation Missions – A Historical Case Study
Policy and Resourcing 240 is designed around three unsuccessful American security cooperations missions. The initial case studies are with the Republic of Vietnam (1946-1973), Afghanistan (2001-2020) and Iraq (2003-2012). This course is valuable to understand the political, military, economic and threats around the three case studies and to understand why the United States Security Cooperation program was either a critical aspect of strategic failure, or why the Security Cooperation was the sole reason of strategic failure.
