This course is designed for National Guard security cooperation practitioners within the State Partnership Program (SPP) under U.S.C. Title 10, § 341. This course will provide an understanding of the DoD’s State Partnership Program emphasizing program administration, planning, organization, and operations as well as the interaction and constraints of the SPP with DoD security cooperation activities. The learner will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the National Guard Bureau functions related to the DoD’s State Partnership Program (SPP), recognize the many interrelated aspects of the SPP with other security cooperation authorities and programs. The learner will demonstrate the linkage between U.S. National Security goals and objectives and their State Partnership Program engagements with foreign partners.
