SC-102 is a foundational-level course introducing U.S. security cooperation (SC) and its role in advancing national security objectives through military diplomacy. As a core course in the Support Enablers pathway, it is designed for security cooperation professionals seeking a fundamental understanding of the frameworks governing SC activities. The course explores key components such as the 3D approach (Development, Diplomacy, and Defense), security sector assistance, and institutional capacity building (ICB). By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify key components of SC, recognize the roles of key U.S. Government (USG) stakeholders in shaping SC programs and policies, and understand how SC serves as a force multiplier through a policy-informed approach.
