About Us
Founded in 1976 as the Defense Institute of Security Assistance Management (DISAM), DSCU’s Foreign Military Sales Academy (FMSA) at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, directly supports DSCA’s missions of advancing U.S. national security and foreign policy by training, educating, and providing for the long-term development of the Security Cooperation workforce. FMSA aims to be the focal point for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) education for all Department of Defense personnel engaged in managing Security Cooperation programs.
The FMSA faculty and staff are focused on building and maintaining curriculum supporting Certification 2.0 requirements and developing other courses and learning activities tailored to specific functional areas and skills in the various FMS practitioner groups.
