INT 2300V International Acquisition Integration
This virtual instructor led (VILT) teaches students to plan, integrate, and implement international acquisition programs within the Defense Acquisition System. It is designed to meet the needs of DoD acquisition workforce members in various acquisition career fields that are responsible for international acquisition program efforts as well as the needs of the Security Cooperation (SC) Acquisition Management (ACQ) Functional Area. The course covers the International Acquisition competencies using a comprehensive, integrated approach with practical exercises that address the following areas/mechanisms: cooperative programs, foreign military sales, direct commercial sales, building partnership capacity programs, technology security and foreign disclosure, and defense exportability integration. Upon completion of the course, students will possess the skills needed to plan, participate in, and manage a wide variety of international acquisition program activities that support U.S. Government and DoD political-military objectives, contribute to program affordability, and enhance coalition interoperability with allied/friendly nations effectively and efficiently.
